For five years, Tarbiya Institute has brought inspiration and fulfillment to the Greater Sacramento Muslim Community. From the first Jumaa prayer at a park in Rocklin, to the many programs offered across our two locations, Tarbiya has striven to meet the spiritual, educational, and social needs of the entire family. Embracing the diversity of our people, Tarbiya Institute is an organization that draws Muslims from every corner to join a community that takes a stand against the Islamophobic rhetoric of today. Through active engagement with members and non-members alike, Tarbiya is a safe haven of knowledge and empowerment, and a beacon of social responsibility. Since our inception, we have continued to grow and expand our reach to serve the entire family. We have created multiple children’s programs, thorough educational programs for young adults, group activities, and numerous family events.

So, where does the future take us?

With Allah’s grace, we have acquired a new facility that will house all of our existing programs and projects as well as allow for new initiatives and ideas, but above all, be a serene place of worship in which the Lord’s name is mentioned and praised. This facility enables us to invest in the future for our children in new ways and catalyze greater youth and community engagement through amenities such as space for sports activities, a gym, a library, a cafe, proper Sunday school classrooms, offices for rent with access to the prayer area, and so much more!

Tarbiya Institute is founded on three principles that drive us forward: Perpetual. Personal. Progress. We bring that to you and your family with our growth into this new facility by the grace of Allah (SWT).

Help us reach our goal! Here is the financial breakdown:

• $15,000 per month | Existing Financial Obligation | Sierra Gardens Location | Due until 06-2020

• $26,000 per month | New Foothills Location | Includes monthly rent, utilities, insurance, janitorial services, etc.

• For the building to be paid off in 5 years, a balloon payment of $500,000 will be made once a year.
